Great location, excellent service, and spacious rooms—just be sure to choose your room wisely if you’re a light sleeper. I checked in online and was initially assigned room 329 facing the highway, which turned out to be a mistake since I’m very sensitive to noise. The next morning, Marisol at the front desk sincerely apologized for the rough night and immediately moved me to an even-numbered room on the opposite side of the highway. What a difference! Thanks to her quick and attentive help, I was finally able to rest well. She even let me borrow a basketball so I could shoot around a bit—great perk along with the hot pool and fire pit. The hotel is literally right next to downtown, making it so easy to enjoy nearby restaurants and shops. And the breakfast? Awesome—fresh strawberries and blueberries, nice hot oatmeal, and a made to order omelette station that really stood out. Highly recommended!

I love this place. The suite is spacious, quiet and clean. The bed is comfortable. The breakfast is very good. There is an omelette station. They serve hard boiled eggs, plain yogurt, oatmeal and fruit salad if you are looking for healthy options. Everything is fresh. Unlike some hotel breakfasts, I had hard time to find healthy food. Will definitely stay here next time I am in the area.

I recently had a reservation issue, and Marisoll Castro went above and beyond to help resolve it. She was professional, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was handled properly. The front desk staff were also friendly and helpful throughout the process, which made the experience even better. That level of service really stood out and made a big difference in my stay. Great service, clean rooms, quick check in, easy check out. Seldom cook in hotels, but in this case needed to. Missing some utensils and dishwasher soap (eg no spatula). No big deal. Work was in San Francisco, so for me the location ended up being a bit of a hassle. Only 25 miles away, but an hour or so commute due to traffic. City hotels were over $1000 a night this week, so Pleasant Hill was a bargain. Plus, crossing the Bay Bridge is a decent tourist experience. Hotel is across the street from shops and restaurants and walkable.

Amazing hotel . great location, loved the complementary water, the bar great touch ( bartender EJ super friendly !) , breakfast was lovely. I would stay again !

Hyatt House Pleasant Hill is very conveniently located. Shopping and dining within a short walking distance. Great freeway access. Centrally located between Concord and Walnut Creek. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable and they serve a full complementary breakfast. The rooms could use some updating but they are always very clean.

I have stayed here twice in the past few years and the rooms are nice and clean with everything you can ask for, I especially love their 2 bedroom suite. I would definitely stay here again when I visit the area. The only complain I have is that the staff refusing to send house keeping to clean the room even with a 3 night stay, the front desk also keeps making excuses and never sends them unless you go and request service in person.

I've stayed here multiple times. Every room has a very low pressure shower head. They really need to change them. Otherwise the place is clean and nice to stay at.
